My Top Ten Web Design Tips

Weeks 3 and 4 - have added image links and descriptions, using thumbnail images, tables, and borders. See France
Also used transparent pixels and special characters.

Week 5   Tables, Border Backgrounds - See notes above
Added a music GIF to Java Assignments page.
Added banner headline and transparent background on this page.

Tip of the Week - Internet Explorer has an option to "Print Table of Links" - helpful!

Week 6   Building and Reviewing
Added a pop-up window and an animation to Java Assignments page.
Increased length of background GIF to avoid repeat at bottom of screen.
Added acute accent special character in French text - marché.

Tips of the Week -

When subscribing to Mailing Lists, keep a copy of response for subscribe and un-subscribe (usually in confirm-response) in a "Listserv" folder for easy reference and to keep track of all of your lists.

When printing lessons or long documents, check printer options for duplex (2-sided) printing. HP DeskJet has a Feature for printing as a "book" - saves paper and works well for keeping pages in a "non-virtual" notebook.
