Staff Ride

You have read about the Rangers and their incredible feat of scaling the cliff at Pointe du Hoc, coming from rough seas and under seige. There is no substitute, however, for standing at the site and looking straight down at craggy, steep rocks, waves pounding against them. Now listen to the echoes of gunfire from the strongpoint at the top. It is awe-inspiring.
